R&D&i activities
Our technicians and specialists interest and spirit move us to be constantly involved in different R&D&I projects with national and international organizations such as: European Commission, Politechnics University of Madrid, University of Almería, CIEMAT and Almería Solar Platform (PSA).



Some of the most interesting projects we are currently involved in are the following:
PSE-ARFRISOL:
R&D strategic project on Bioclimatic Architecture and Solar Cooling. With this Project, CIEMAT intends to demonstrate (among other things) that it is possible to use solar energy to provide seasonal cooling. Sistemas de Calor, as part involved in the project, has designed and carried out the installation of an absorption cooling machine powered by solar energy at CIESOL building, in Almería University.

VFCPP (The Virtual Fuel Cell Power Plant):
The VF CPP is an European project the objective of which is to manufacture and test a fuel cell of hydrogenous that contributes to optimising the electricity supply to be consumed and that necessary to obtain Sanitary Hot Water.

ABSORPTION:
Development and installation of solar driven absorption systems to produce cooling (Politechnics University of Madrid, UAL- University of Almería)



PASSYS:
The PASSYS project was formed by the Commission of the European Communities with the aim of increasing confidence in passive solar heating systems.

REMOTE DISH:
This paper describes the applications of high temperature thermal solar energy. It is being carried out at PSA (Almería Solar Platform) and counts on continued support from the European Commission.

DISTOR:
Counting on continued support and financial contribution from the European Comisión, the objective of this project is to develop an efficient and competitive thermal energy storage system for solar thermal power plants for direct steam generation in the absorber pipes of parabolic through solar collectors (the so-called DSG process).
